Today I’m offering up a tutorial specifically for musicians. Here at Helps2, we help small businesses, nonprofits, and independent creatives of all types. We’re getting ready to launch a series just for musicians, and so this post is for musicians who are wanting to get their music up on iTunes.
Why iTunes? There are a lot of music platforms, but iTunes is the big dog. Having your music on iTunes is a notch in your belt, as it were – it helps lend credibility to your music and you as an artist.
CD Baby and Tunecore are the two main sites that I use to get my music onto iTunes and other music platforms. In this tutorial, I cover my personal favorite, Tunecore. I’m not going to go through all of the step-by-step instructions here, because the tutorial video really has all the details – and the visuals, too!
If you’re an indie musician – whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been at this a while – then please subscribe to our YouTube channel! We have so much content to help you with your marketing, social media, and more! And we’ve got more free content coming out all the time! And sign up for our special Undercover Musician series, too!
Now, on to the tutorial! Click the video below for a detailed introduction on how you can use Tunecore to get your music launched!
